The Living Forest Institute lives, works and plays on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and shíshálh (Sechelt) First Nations.

We believe that our remaining natural forests are integral components of the local communities in which they exist, and play an essential role in the well-being of the planet. We promote this belief through collaboration with environmental, First Nations, political, educational, artistic, cultural and other organizations to produce art and educational activities that develop stronger connections between community members and local natural forests.
